Maple Bourbon Porterhouse Pork Chops

These Maple Bourbon Glazed Pork Chops are mouthwateringly delicious and perfect for a hearty weeknight meal.





Ingredients

  • Mashed Potatoes here

  • Porterhouse Pork Chops or another chop cut

  • 1 Tablespoon Maple syrup

  • 1/2 Tablespoon brown sugar

  • Butter

  • Maple Bourbon seasoning (I used Wassi's Maple Reserve, Not Sponsored)

  • Splash of Bourbon

  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  1. Allow chops to sit for 30 minutes at room temperature

  2. Season all sides with Maple Bourbon seasoning

  3. Preheat grill to medium-high

  4. Place chops on the grill, get a nice grill mark sear then turn 90 degrees, sear again, then flip to the other side. Reduce heat to low.

  5. Flip chops every few minutes to get a perfect even cook. Remove once chops hit 145 degrees

  6. In a bowl mix melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, and a splash of bourbon, mix, then spoon over pork chops, cover with foil

  7. Let it rest a good 5 minutes then serve next to a bed of creamy mashed potatoes

  8. Top with parsley

  9. Enjoy.
