Easy Creamy Alfredo Sauce

Normal Alfredo is a simple white cream sauce. It is made from butter, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese. While the original style is great, I love to add vermouth, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley to make this Alfredo sauce taste even better!


  • 3 Tablespoons butter (Do not use processed fake butter)

  • 2 Garlic cloves (I love garlic so sometimes I use more)

  • 16 oz Heavy whipping cream

  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated

  • Splash or two of sweet vermouth or vodka

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Fresh parsley


  • Heat butter in deep skillet on low heat, add garlic cook for one minute

  • Add whipping cream to pan, cook until it thickens and reduce a little

  • Splash or two of sweet vermouth or vodka

  • Add parmesan to pan, stir and cook for further 3-4 minutes until melted and creamy

  • Pour over your favorite pasta then top with fresh parsley
